ACK! Chuck and I have been so busy at our real jobs that we’re late in posting some of the very best stuff I’ve ever seen from a hockey summer. Let’s start with the most important thing.

Patrick Kane looks frighteningly attractive here, in yet another all-American polo shirt. Dan Carcillo has the same haircut as a ragamuffin orphan in a Disney live-action musical. Which is to say no haircut at all.
Team Tightpants on the other side of the stage… well, there’s no question why the girl comedian got that squad.

We were three buttons from a Magic Mike Tribute. She’s a hero.

I don’t know what the hell is going on in that video, but I love it! Gotta love men–and hot ones at that!–who are willing to make asses of themselves in good fun! And I love Shaw. Life’s gotta be pretty good when you’re 21 and an NHL star. 🙂
I’d just like to point out that the concave in Stalberg’s chest is shaped like the Stanley Cup. Sign of things to come? I hope so.
Who notices things like that? YOU DO. Because you’re crazy, like pretty much everybody who visits here! BUT I hope you’re right. I hope they win the Cup again soon. 🙂

All I can say is: Hurray for everybody who attended being so diligent about documenting every millisecond of their Hawks Rock ‘N Roll Fantasy. It’s hilarious and amazing and thank you very much.
Also – BIG kudos to the Hawks for continuing to host this event every summer. Rain or shine. CBA or no CBA. Cup or no Cup. Verbeauty or no Verbeauty. It’s obviously a huge hit and they players seem to enjoy it even more than the fans and that’s saying a lot. Competitor franchises should take notice, especially franchises that are having troubles. What a great way to solidify (mack on?) your fanbase, and spread the word to folks who are fair-weather fans.
