It’s not too early to nominate Jonathan Toews for the Hart Trophy.
The Blackhawks were down 3-0 to Phoenix last night, early in the second period. Tazer scored twice in seven minutes then set Kaner up a few minutes later for a game-tying goal that would hold into an eventual shootout loss. It was a BAMF performance, one of so many Toews puts on they are hard to count. And it made me look really cool for wearing my #19 shirt to the gym just hours before. Toews leads the NHL in goals, Kane leads in assists. The Hawks are first in their division and third overall in the League.

Oh, captain, my captain indeed. More Toews stats: he’s first in goals, second in points, second in game winning goals, 17.7% in shorts, first in face-off wins with more than SIXTY-TWO PERCENT (including winning 88% last night), and first in beast mode. So much Jonny love makes me SO HAPPY!
Where the hell did Florida come from? We totally missed that one.

Tim Thomas is the bomb dot com. He was my ASG vote for goalie all the way. Also, I suppose I can let him have the goalie awards. And sure, why not, also that weird one where marines repell from the ceiling of a Vegas casino. Pretty sure they only give that one to Americans anyway 😛
