Last night’s hockey was uglier than Chris Pronger in a vintage Ducks sweater, so this morning I need something to pick me up:
I don’t have to tell you how happy this makes me. Not just the shooting and the stickhandling, but Sid is skating pretty hard. Please please please… okay, I can’t say it. Just keep calm and Crosby on.
The best part about the whole thing? He’s smiling. I’m smiling. And the Pens have a little clinched-playoff-spot “x” next to their name in the standings. And I really want one of these:
This makes me incredibly happy too! I bought my tickets to the Pens game in Tampa just a few days before the golden boy went down and I’ve been hoping ever since that he’d make a full recovery by the time March 31st rolled around. Sadly, it was not to be but I an THRILLED that it looks like he could be making it back for a playoff run. Pens + Crosby in the playoffs = GOLD!

PS: Crosby is traveling with the team to the Sunshine State, so keep an eye out for him!
