when I got home from work tonight tellingme he heard rumors of a trade between the Washington Capitals and the LA Kings. Pants can attest to the fact that I complain like Sid about the lack of defense on the Caps. The great, fabulous Mr. Green is their Obi-Wan Kenobi. Pants like his hair, I love what he does on the ice. I’m like Princess Leia every game in front of the TV – “Help me Obi-Wan, you’re my only hope!” Repeat and rinse … Also, they need more than one goalie – Neuvy baby, I’ve been turbo voting for ya for the All-Star Game but can you say, Kiprusoff? Varly will implode – trust me.

On to my next tib-bit-o-news: the blogs and hockey sites were on fire tonight with captions like, IS SIDNEY A DIRTY PLAYER? LOL! Really? He slew footed some dude in the Rangers game tonight (see video) and it makes the news. What should have been the REAL HIGHLIGHT was Sidney’s slew footing of Sean Avery in the third period of the same game. Since when did Sid get all slew foot happy? I am going to nick name him Slew Foot Sid from now on. He’s got it down pat. But a word of advice from a publicist Sid, don’t whine that you can’t be ‘dirty player’ because you only have 15 penalty minutes. You don’t want to tarnish that halo.
On to the next fabulous video for your viewing pleasure is the Chris Pronger “Sean Avery” penalty. I don’t think this really needs any more explanation. Just watch and learn my friends. Watch and learn

Yeah, that’s a penalty. Can I tell you that Kennedy fighting Avery was my favorite thing of the night? (Aside from Letang’s helmet coming off twice – that hair….) Get ‘im, TK!
Fopr the record ladies, I HATE Avery. He’s right up there at the top of my list that includes Hossa, Ovi and, well, the entire Philadelphia Flyers current Roster. Particular venom reserved for Carbomb and Hartnell *hisssssssss*.
But Avery? 1) Gets an internship at a fashion magazine. 2) whines like a girl. Actually, that’s unkind to girls. Whines like a Pommy B***ard, as the Aussies would say. 3) Does not seem to grasp the simple concept that there is no “i” in TEAM. The man seems to be only out for hisself. And lastly – I have long suspected he keeps stealing Henrik Lundqvist’s GHD straighteners and hogs all the mirror time in the lockerroom.
Enough said. ONe of my friends said she thinks he’s a bad boy. Words failed me. They actually did.
Oh dear. Did I go too far? And as for Hossa – SHOULD NEVER HAVE GOT TO RAISE LORD STAN’S CUP SECOND.

How is it pure bs?? That is the best you got. Hence why I call some people cwnlos on this blog. Drury is overpaid for his skills that’s a fact. Yes blame Sather but his last 2 years in Buffalo were better than any of the years we had him. WE DIDN’T SIGN HIM TO REVERT BACK. He should have improved or continued from Buffalo. It’s his own fault for signing such a lucrative deal. He can’t deliver and especially after last years embarrassment I don;t think he will ever get his confidence back. You see it all the time in sports when players sign for to much and can’t handle the pressure. LI Joe you sir know nothing. Defend the scrapes by blaming other nonsense things you clown!!!!
