The plan for tonight’s Blackhawks game involves Chuck and I taking polyjuice potion, turning ourselves into the Sedin twins and throwing the game. We’re talking bad penalties, own-goals, the works.

We have all kind of faith in the Hawks but some things are better not left to chance. Plus, we’ve always wanted to be ginger and we share a brain anyway. And Ryan Kesler changes in that locker room. On the off chance that our plan doesn’t work out…
No, really. The Hawks know what they need to do and they did it in game 4: come out flying. Get a couple on the board, control the game and bit and let that give them confidence. There’s no magic but the mullet and the bromance.
I… I will save most of what I’m thinking for tomorrow, win or loss, because I don’t want to jinx anything. Tonight’s game doesn’t start till 10 PM ET, and I have to be at work at 6 AM ET tomorrow. So pretty much not going to sleep… it’s worth it. GO HAWKS!

Hawks game is at 10pm EST so we’ll have plenty of time to get back, re-juice and become Sedinbots.

I cannot agree with this plan to become Sedinbots. Vancouver is EVIL! I have a Hockey Hottie Pool and I can’t even have Kesler or Bieksa in my pool because it’s like cheering for Satan. The Western Canada rivalry is STRONG.
That said, I’m SO nervous about tonight. I’m trying to console myself with the fact that IF JT loses tonight, we’ll still have the Pens – my #1 team. But the thought of Tayzer losing (and we all know how bad he loses) will make me cry. There may be tears tonight – BUT I’m holding out hope that the sexiness of the Hawks will prevail!!
I want every series that the Pens aren’t in to go to seven. That means all of the other teams get all tired out, but we get to look at them longer.
I’m mostly cheering for Vancouver, but it kind of makes me sad to think that we might not get the full force of Jonny’s Mennonite farmer chinstrap playoff beard this year.
