Once Chuck and I went on a road trip that involved five or six Hanson concerts. Then there was the time we skipped broomball for a Westlife road trip that resulted in us being fined a dozen Dunkin’ Donuts. And the time we saw *N Sync. Well, boy bands are so 2001.
Pants & Chuck are hitting the road for a reunion in Pittsburgh!

We are joining Chuck’s roommate and new hockey fan Beth (@sailingfoodie) to visit her boyfriend The Chad for the weekend. Plans include the Penguins’ open practice Saturday morning, a CD release party from Mercury and the Pens vs. Panthers game on Sunday. Oh, and plenty of this:

I’m packing all my Pens gear in an attempt to outfit the girls appropriately. Hats, shirts, socks, jerseys – we’re going to look like excited freshman. If we can figure out how to work fancy technology, we might even update from the road. This is the perfect way to get everyone extra excited for the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs!

I’ve seen the Pens play 4 times this season, but I’ve never been to Pittsburgh. Needless to say I should be kept away from sharp objects and soda. I’ll be hyper enough. 😉 Wish us luck!!

I’m so excited for you guys! As the lone Pens fan in Florida (apparently) I’m loading up the car with one of my fellow hockey fan girlfriends and schlepping it down to Tampa to see the Pens play the Lightning one week from today! I hope to bring back a Tanger hair doll 🙂

AHHHHH!!!! I’m dragging my friend to Pittsburgh this weekend for open practice, too. Unfortunately, we don’t have tickets for the game. I’m not counting on winning the tickets from Kiss 96.1 for Sunday, but my fingers are crossed.

When is the roadtrip to LA?
Cya, where were you when we both lived in LA and couldn’t find anyone to go to hockey games with us? Oh the drive to Anaheim. Like a slow descent into hell. But we’re back pretty often to visit, so next season for sure!
Two ships passing in the night. I bet we were at some of the same games. I know how you feel, I don’t understand why more women don’t go to games, do they not know how many hot guys play hockey? Anywho, I have one hockey friend, and she’s a Flyers fan. Next season, for sure!
